Please note the updated program schedule for this event. Tickets are currently available Friday afternoons only.
Every day is full of a list of barnyard chores we need to get down to make sure our farmyard friends are happy and healthy! Let’s get to work.
Join us for our special, hands-on Family Farm Chores program held on Fridays and Saturdays! Get on your muck boots: your whole family will get to be farmers together! Help feed Violet and Vanilla, the rabbits, and Morgana, Maeve, Merlin, and Mordred, the goats. Collect eggs from our flock of chickens. We might even take the goats for a stroll on their halters!
This is a immersive, hands-on experience best suited for families—adults and children alike will get to try their hand at a variety of tasks. Be sure to wear sneakers or other closed-toe shoes when you join us in the barnyard.
Please Note: With the confirmation of the presence of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in Massachusetts, we are taking necessary precautions to protect visitors and our flocks. Although risk of transmission to humans is low, out of an abundance of caution, we are asking that staff only enter our poultry spaces. Thank you for understanding.
Please note: Participants will be asked to follow Covid-19 related guidelines, including wearing face coverings and maintaining social distance. If you are experiencing symptoms, please do not attend the event.
Space is limited for this event and pre-registration is required.
This program runs on Fridays and Saturdays April-October. Please follow the link to tickets to ensure that there are tickets available for the date you are seeking.
We will meet at the Carriage Barn, following signs from the Farms Offices parking lot.
