Description

The Summer Movie Series takes place on Sundays after concerts at the Lynch Park shell.  Admittance to the park is free after 5.  Movies start as soon as it is dark enough.  This is usually 8:30 early in the summer and closer to 8 in August. Bring a blanket to sit on and come watch some classics!

Movies at Lynch Park return with a modern classic.  Everyone’s favorite cowboy and space ranger are back in the most recent installment of the universally loved Toy Story series.  Movies start as soon as it is dark enough, usually sometime around 8:40 PM at this point in the summer.

If you don’t watch Jaws on 4th of July weekend, does it even really count as a holiday!?  Come snuggle up right next to the ocean and watch one of the all time great nail biters.  Movie starts once it is dark enough.

Summer Movies at Lynch Park continue with Disney’s take on the Rapunzel lore: Tangled.  Wear your finest princess threads… or just some sweatpants and join us for a night of magical hair, Flynn’s nose and a whole bunch of lanterns.  Movie starts as soon as it is dark enough.

My Best Friend’s Wedding features Julia Roberts at her all-time most Julia (come at me, Pretty Woman fans!) and a then-rising star Cameron Diaz in the pinnacle of 90’s rom coms (come at me Meg Ryan fans!).  It also features a scene where Dermot Mulroney tries to convince the audience that a White Sox team from the late 90’s might make the playoffs. Bring a picnic dinner and your best friend….and their fiance’ too, I suppose, and enjoy a night at the park.

Come get the Led out with Jack Black in his breakout performance.  Look, you could be the ugliest sad-sack on the planet, but if you’re watchin’ a rockin’ movie with you neighbors, your the cat’s pajama’s! The bees knees!

Movie starts at Lynch Park as soon as it’s dark enough. Bring your family and/or your band.
