Everyone is encouraged to participate! Become a group leader and organize your very own clean up group today.
Wondering how to sign up and participate? Follow these steps!
- Organize your group. Bring together members from your neighborhood, schools, clubs, youth leagues ect. and build your clean up team!
- Choose your clean up site! All clean up sights must be on town/public property. Check out our list of Clean-Up Sites to see what areas are still available for clean up. Don’t see a site you are interested in listed? Let us know your site in the next step!
- Sign up your group using the Danvers Clean Up Day 2022 – Sign up form. Only group leaders need to sign up to represent their group. DPW staff will be in contact directly with group leaders only.
- During sign up let us know what group you are a part of and how many volunteers plan to participate in your group.
The Danvers DPW will be supplying clean up materials for all groups including blue trash bags, clear bags for recycling, and disposable gloves. Group leaders will be able to pick up these supplies for their group the week leading up to this event. More information will be provided to group leaders prior to sign up.
The Danvers DPW will complete the cleanup on Monday, April 25th, by collecting all trash/recycling bags and large debris. During sign up, group leaders must designate where the collected trash/recycling will be left after the clean up event. Bags must be left on town property and easily accessible for our Danvers DPW clean up crew.
