Performances at 11am & 1pmDescription
April 19th, 11am & 1pm Puppets and music at a seaside castle can only mean it’s Hammond Castle Museum’s Day of Puppetry! Bring your little ones (and not so little ones) down to the Hammond Castle Museum for a day of puppet antics, laughter and musical numbers aplenty with the Vaudeville Puppets! Visit with Laughing Allegra in the Great Hall at an intimate pre-show. On the “main-stage” attendees will be regaled with the family-friendly tomfooleries of puppet-master, Peter A. Cancilla’s Vaudeville Puppets including: Miles Marcus, Prof. Monster Johnson (who is not scary at all) and Paul Revere’s famous Horse the steed they call Brown Beauty of course! Mr. Dan Jakes will try to contain these kooky critters armed only with six strings, on his guitar that is, while his musical mastery will have you boogying too. Sing along with the gang to some well-known favorites and be amongst the first to hear the world-debut of The Ballad of John Hays Hammond Jr.
