Ipswich River offers 12 miles of trails that invite you to explore the forests, meadows, wetlands, drumlin, and esker.

In an effort to keep our visitors and staff safe by allowing for plenty of social and physical distancing, we are limiting visitation to Ipswich River. Visitors need to make a reservation for a specific arrival time. There will be no tickets available on site.
Please note: For everyone’s safety, there will be no canoe rentals and no access to buildings, restrooms, or water fountains.
Reservations REQUIRED
Please select your arrival time. Note: We cannot accommodate any date changes, cancellations, or refunds once an order has been placed.
Reservations are $10 per car for nonmembers; free per car for Mass Audubon members, EBT Cardholders, ConnectorCare Card to Culture Cardholders, and Active Duty US Military Families. Please show your reservation confirmation (and corresponding card, if applicable) upon arrival.

Upon Arrival
You will need to show your reservation confirmation (either printed or on a mobile device) through your car window.
Please follow our Trail Guidelines including:
- Keep at least 6 feet apart from staff and other visitors.
- Wear a mask in areas where you aren't able to stay 6 feet from other visitors.
- Do not gather in groups of people from outside of your household.
- Avoid high-touch surfaces such as benches, picnic tables, and Nature Play Areas.
- No bikes or pets.
