The Birth Without Fear Conference is returning to Boston!
This will be an intimate day of inspiration, support, and validation the likes of which January Harshe, author of Birth Without Fear: The Judgement-Free Guide to Taking Charge of Your Pregnancy, Birth, and Postpartum (Hachette Books, March 5 2019), has become known for. Our hope is that when the MeetUp is over, you will leave with more information, a sense of solidarity, and feeling heard and supported.
Registration will begin at 11:30am EST, where all you will need to bring is a photo ID. This is also where you will be handed your very own copy of Birth Without Fear for January to sign later in the day! Once checked in, you can treat yourself to the coffee and tea that we will have ready for you upon arrival.
The Birth Without Fear MeetUp will then begin at 12:00 pm with January offering her signature brand of inspiration and humor as she speaks on "Why Birth Without Fear?" She will talk about why she began the Birth Without Fear movement, how it evolved over the years, weaving in parts of her own six unique pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experiences along the way.
The afternoon session will kick off with our Harmony Circles. This part of every Birth Without Fear live event has been a life changing, validating, and unifying experience for all who have attended our past events. This is where we will come together over coffee or tea to share, listen, and support in person. Authentic solidarity. This is how wisdom is passed on and healing happens. Even if you've experienced a Harmony Circle at a previous Birth Without Fear event, you know that every time is unique, and there is more to gain and give.
When the Harmony Circles conclude, January will wrap up the day sharing final words of wisdom about self love, self care, body positivity, postpartum, and parenthood that you won't want to miss!
When January concludes, there will be a Meet & Greet for all attendees to share hugs, take pictures, and most exciting of all, get your very own copy of Birth Without Fear signed by January herself!
*Lap children are more than welcome to this event. If you need to bring a little one, we always leave that up to you as you know what's best for you and them.
