Welcome! My name is Charlotte Arivella and I am the owner and designer at Thistle n Sage.
I was born in a quaint village in England between Manchester and Liverpool (yes the Beatles!) in a place called Cheshire. When I was 3, my parents were given an opportunity to experience the “American Dream” first hand. As you can imagine, they jumped at it! They brought my two brothers and me to the U.S. when I was just 3 and we, as a family, never looked back!
My early career started in retail working in high-end luxury stores and boutiques. Doing this for more than 5 years, I found a passion for customer service, marketing, and sales. I then had the opportunity to join a growing bank which would give me more of a career path that I was looking for. I climbed the corporate ladder quickly, received my dream job title, and thought that it couldn’t get any better!
Eight years into focused career growth, I became a mom. As I’m sure many can relate, everything I truly thought was important in life, changed. Feeling satisfied and fulfilled, the way I felt being a new mom, became my ultimate goal. I continued to grow in my career over the next two years, but with growth came more and more uncertainty if it was what I really wanted. As the saying goes, “The key is not to prioritize what’s on your schedule, but to schedule your priorities”.
Flash forward to 2020. A career change, much-needed quality time with my little one, and a lot of soul searching and Thistle n Sage was born!
TnS combines clean lines with classic designs. I take pride in hand creating fresh and unique pieces. Leveraging the growing e-commerce platform, Thistle n Sage is solely an online store. This allows for lower price points without compromising quality.
