Ready to add a little extra sparkle to the holiday season? Our community boasts some pretty spectacular lights and holiday displays, where your crew can enjoy twinkling scenes from the warmth, comfort, and safety of your car.

🌟 Winter Lights at Stevens-Coolidge House & Gardens

This holiday season, three of our beautiful garden properties sparkle with thousands of shimmering, artfully designed holiday lights. Bring the whole family for a magical, fun, and safe outdoor experience – with food, refreshments, and more.


   Winter Lights on Cape Ann (Gloucester, Essex, Ipswich, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Rockport)

Celebrate the spirit of the season on Cape Ann! Pack up the car and come enjoy the 3rd Annual Winter Lights on Cape Ann. Local businesses throughout Gloucester, Essex, Ipswich, Manchester-by-the-Sea, and Rockport are getting into the festive spirit by decorating their storefronts with twinkling lights and creative window displays! Over 100 lighted locations will help bring joy to all those who visit from Saturday, November 26 through New Years Day! NEW this year is a decorating contest! Businesses participating in the contest will be noted on the 2022 map and brochure. Pick your favorite decorated business in each of the five participating communities for a chance to win a prize!  


🌟The North Shore Holiday Light Show (Haverhill)

The North Shore Holiday Light Show™returns for its 3rd season, bigger and better than ever! Featuring dozens of dazzling, larger-than-life holiday-themed displays to delight the entire family, there is simply nothing like a trip through the North Shore Holiday Light Show! Pack a favorite snack and beverage, bundle up in the warmth of your car and tune your radio to enjoy the synced light performance as your travel the 1-mile route through the light show.


πŸ˜β˜ƒοΈ ZooLights will Shine Brightly at Stone Zoo This Holiday Season (Stoneham)

Enter a winter wonderland of tree-lined paths lit by thousands of twinkling lights spanning Stone Zoo's 26 acres. Take a sparkling stroll through festively decorated Yukon Creek, home to black bears, Canada lynx, reindeer and arctic foxes. This year, several illuminated large-scale animal lantern displays will light up your winter's night!

Wednesdays, Nov. 30 - Dec. 21, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.: Though Santa's busy at the North Pole, Mrs. Claus will spread holiday cheer throughout the Zoo. Be sure to say hello, snap a pic, and she may even pass a message along to Old Saint Nick!


🌟 Danvers Christmas Lights

This light display is fundraising to make the holidays special for kids and families at Boston Children's Hospital. Your donation will help purchase meaningful items for patients and fill urgent needs for patient families and the hospital - especially during the holiday season. With your help, parents and caregivers will be able to focus on what matters most: helping their child heal.

WORTH THE DRIVE

🌟 Bright Nights- Springfield MA

This is New England's largest display of festive lights. The wonderland stretches across miles (yes, miles) of glittering park, and you experience this otherworldly show from your cozy car. You might even want to wear your favorite Christmas jammies and bring along some treats to make your adventure even more festival. Along the way, you'll be pulled through the magical territories of “Seuss Land”, “Jurassic Park”, and the “North Pole Village."


🌟Edaville Christmas Festival of Lights, South Carver MA

This railroad amusement park pulls out all the stops for the holiday season. Hop on a train and ride through millions of twinkling lights that illuminate the grounds of the park. You’ll also get to feast on seasonal goodies, visit Santa. and ride on vintage amusement park rides. The celebration traditionally runs from late November through the New Year.


🌟 The Magic of Lights- Foxboro

The drive-thru experience features themed light displays using LED technology and digital animations.

New additions for 2021 include Prehistoric Christmas, Big Foot Monster Trucks, the Snow Flurry Tunnel, and Illuminating Mega Trees, with 40 feet of dancing lights synchronized to popular holiday tunes.

🌟 Winter Wonderland and theFestival of Illumination- Southwick Zoo- Mendon

Features include the Frozen Forest, Who-ville with the Grinch and Festival of Illumination lanterns.

After the drive, a tram will take guests to Santa's Village to see the jolly fellow himself and enjoy available refreshments.


🌟 Creater Boston Celebration of Lights- Waltham

More than 1 mile of roadway in Waltham is transformed into a drive-through display with more than 1 million LED lights and animatronic scenes. Accompanying holiday music is available through FM radio.


🌟 The Gift of Lights- Louden, NH

With more than 2.5 miles of lights, this drive-through light show is a recent addition to the list but already a popular one. Given that there’s more than 2.5 million lights and 520 individual light displays — not to mention hot chocolate, s’mores, and photos with Santa (for a small fee) — you won’t want to miss seeing how spectacular over-the-top decorating looks while being able to brag you’ve driven your car through the speedway’s infield tunnel.
