North Shore Area Restaurants Our Kids Love

Where on the North Shore our kids love to eat ... and we do too

February 9, 2021

Don't feel like cooking? Can't say we blame you!

Luckily the North Shore of MA has AMAZING restaurants, many of which have pivoted to offer great meals for families at-home during the pandemic. Whether you want to dine-in or eat out, here are where North Shore kids love to EAT:

Honeycomb- Hamilton (Check us out HERE.)

Everything at Honeycomb is absolutely AMAZING! Their sandwiches never disappoint. Every bite is delicious.  I am always very impressed with their selection of non-dairy milk options!  Such an, extremely kind and welcoming staff, and a beautiful aesthetic to make things even better!

Bravo By the Sea- Manchester by the Sea(Check us out HERE.)

40 Beach Street

Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA 01944

978-704-9388

It’s good to have great pizza in Manchester! The setup is ideal: a big clean indoor space with a bar, a huge patio out front which is great for 3 seasons, a friendly attentive staff, good music, tasty food and of course first-class pizza.

Village Restaurant- Essex (Check us out HERE.)

55 Main St,

Essex, MA 01929-1342

My family and I have been going to the Village for as long as I can remember!  It has always been and still is predictably very good. The seafood is always fresh, the service is perfect and the value is right on.

Red's Sandwich Shop- Salem (add link to website or FB page)

15 Central St,

Salem, MA 01970-3702

+1 978-745-3527

If you haven't visited Red's Sandwich Shop in Salem, you don't know what you are missing! You will find down home food with really hearty portions, great selection of menu item, all tasty! Service was spectacular too with friendly and quick service. All of the servers were super attentive to the kids. Only open for breakfast and lunch, definitely worth a stop in!

Little Depot Diner- Breakfast with the Blues- Peabody (Check us out HERE.)

1 Railroad Ave
Peabody, MA
01960

(978) 977-7775

Customers call this diner the “Cheers of Diners”, as they truly know everybody’s name . The diner is a 15 stool Worcester Lunch Car built in 1929. While they are only open until 1pm, that doesn't matter.  About two feet below the ceiling is a model train that goes around a track that surrounds the perimeter. They had terrific blues memorabilia on the walls. While you’re eating, you’ll be serenaded with some great blues music from many of the great blues artists ever. The staff  is both friendly and efficient. You will see the menu is varied and the food is excellent, made with high quality ingredients. It is cash only but not expensive. Highly recommend.Don't let the small size fool you, the taste is huge!
