When I mentioned I was bringing ham & cheese sandwiches to our last potluck dinner, I think they were expecting a boring appetizer ... but not with these! You will amaze the guests at your next party with this recipe. These are very simple to make; in fact, my daughter did most of it herself. Hope you enjoy!
INGREDIENTS
1 lb thinly sliced deli ham
8 oz sliced Swiss cheese
2 packages sweet dinner rolls
1⁄2 cup butter
4 Tbsp brown sugar
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
2 Tbsp poppy seeds
DIRECTIONS
1. Begin by preheating your oven to 350 degrees.
2. Using a long serrated knife, slice all the rolls at once.
3. Then place the bottoms on a sheet pan. We lined ours with foil for easier cleanup and lightly oiled it.
4. Cover the bottoms with the sliced ham and Swiss cheese.
5. Replace the tops, then separate into individual sandwiches by cutting around each.

6. Using a small bowl, melt the butter and combine with the brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and poppy seeds. Pour over all the sandwiches.
7. Bake for 15 minutes or until slightly browned and the cheese is melted.
*Note:
- You can sprinkle the poppy seeds on the top instead of adding them to the sauce.
- We sliced the sandwiches on the diagonal for a smaller appetizer.
